Good Housekeeping Institute
Proposal for the new London home of the GHI. The brief: to create an interior that reflects the brand values of the Institute and Good Housekeeping magazine. The interior scheme is designed to be simple and adaptable. The branded images can be regularly changed and updated to keep pace with the magazine or reflect a particular event.Visitors will instantly identify with their surroundings. The bespoke wall covering design has been created by using front covers from the GHI archives. This can be used for both vinyl wallpaper and laminated panels. Wallpaper designed by Juliet Pick and Georges Icke.
Brief: to create an appealing, but simple interior scheme for the gym with a limited budget that is easy to maintain.
Bespoke wall paper friezes were created at relatively low cost by using historic photographic images of Worthing beach, pier and local sporting events. These were printed in black and white with a blue tint added.
“ Thank you for all your help and advice. The members and staff all love the new look and I think it really puts us head and shoulders above the other small independent gyms in the Worthing area. ”
Kriss Harrold, Owner.
The Bell Inn, Henfield
Brief: to transform a run-down high street pub with limited appeal into a lively meeting place for customers to enjoy meeting friends over a glass of wine, beer and food. Rich colours were used to create a warm and welcoming ambience. Also, graphics were created by sourcing historic photos showing a view of the same high street location 100 years ago. These included images of the first landlady and local sports teams.
“ Just to say thank you,…The pub looks absolutely amazing and the change in Joe and John (landlords) is great. They’re actually proud of where they work. It seems to appeal to everyone. It’s got the wow factor we wanted. Well done! ”
Ray Griffiths, Owner.
Body & Sole - Beauty Salon
Brief: to develop a fabulous and luxurious interior inspired by ‘vintage chic’. The owner, Sarah Barnett, wanted a bold new image. She wanted the identity of the salon to be different from the sterile environment found in many salons.
“ I can’t say thank you enough for what you have done for me. I walk around my salon and I feel so proud. The feedback has been fantastic! You are a truly wonderful lady. ”

Other Clients - Testimonials
“ The reciprocity between Juliet Pick Designs and ourselves has developed well for us all. We’ve been more than happy recommending Juliet Pick to our clients and, of course, we’re pleased to have been brought in to help Juliet on her projects. Proof of this success has been clearly reflected in very positive client reactions and results every time. ”
“ We needed a show home to be tastefully furnished with a clear understanding of our target market, on a limited budget and immediately. Without any fuss and little supervision from ourselves, not only did we get the result we requested, but we’d hardly marketed the completed project and we sold it. This was a perfect start to our ongoing relationship with Juliet Pick Designs. ”
“ Nothing’s too much trouble for Juliet – whether it’s producing bespoke table cloths for wedding cake tables or replacing our soft furnishings; She has excellent product knowledge and is full of creative ideas. We’d be happy to recommend Juliet Pick Designs. ”
